Who Are We?
The New Castle Economic Advisory Committee is made up of representatives from the Town, the Chamber of Commerce and the local business community.

The New Castle Economic Advisory Committee was established to support the Town’s business community to market the town to new businesses and to encourage tourism.

The committee’s first priority is to help young businesses get established and to help established businesses grow.  Any New Castle business that is seeking to expand, upgrade, relocate or solve a problem can seek assistance from the committee.  EAC members can provide information, offer advice and help with planning.  We can direct you to a variety of financial resources at the local, state and federal levels.  We can offer educational opportunities for owners, managers and staff.  And we are ready to help you through the Town’s permitting process, assist with application forms and accompany you to meetings with the Town staff, commissions and council.  Our affiliation with the Rifle Regional Economic Development Corporation gives you access to an expanded range of resources, including local business people who can share their experience and expertise.

The committee recognizes the importance of all sectors of our business community:  Main Street businesses which create the heart of our small-town identity; the I-70 intersection which attracts visitors from the highway; the industrial zone which provides jobs and markets New Castle products; and home businesses which provide a wide range of goods and services.

The NCEAC has recently established pages on Facebook and LinkedIn, which we hope will help us draw attention to the Town and facilitate the exchange of information.  You’ll find the pages by going to www.facebook.com or www.linkedin.com and entering “New Castle” in the Search box.
